Committed to engaging coastal communities youth to support the beaches and oceans they love. Providing middle school & high school students, ASB, or campus clubs an opportunity to fundraise, promote, and host a beach clean up event. We intend to create legacy events for each high school to be proud of, committing annually to SAVE THE SEA. Each school will start by selecting a date host their “SAVE THE SEA” event along with selecting their favorite beach to love. Vision
The City of Ventura will always be home base for me, I’m the founder, Matt Coulter. If you’re reading this, we both love this little city the same way. The people, places and most importantly the ocean, has shaped so much of our lives. I’m forever indebted to this little stretch of coastline. So it’s our responsibly as the caretakers for this generation to leave this place better than we found it. In the midst of 2020, one of the most devastating times in recent history, it’s time to take action and care for the things we love the most. I’m calling on our entire city to take just one day a year to help our beaches and oceans. On December 12, 2020, together we’ll commit to loving our oceans and making sure it’s around for future generations to enjoy! We all understand schedules don’t exist these days, so if you want to grab a few friends and do your own virtual event, you can sign up to do that too! Always remember trash anywhere ends up in our oceans; weather you’re on the beach, on campus, or in your neighborhood, you can make a difference.
